Hanging out in the golf cart...she loves that thing
Today was Madi's 15 month checkup. She weighed 22 lbs 8 1/2 oz (a little less than 50th%) and was 31 1/2 inches tall (75th-90th %). Dr. Pettit was very pleased with everything. Madi was none too happy about going to the doctor today. She had to get her 2nd flu shot last week so she was a little wary of the place. She did get one vaccine today, her HIB vaccine. I decided not to give her the MMR vaccine. We are going to wait until she is 18-20 months to get it.
We had a fun weekend this past weekend. Aunt Alex, or A as Madi calls her, celebrated her sweet 16 this weekend. Her birthday was September 29th, but we chose to celebrate this weekend. Madi had a great time. She got to eat cake and icecream and had a lot of fun playing with her family. As you can tell from the pictures it is not easy to get a still shot of Madi.
Tonight Miss Priss got back in the candy jar. When I took the candy away from her she got back up there again to get some more. I got it on video the second time and it was pretty funny. She climbed on the couch, onto the side table then carefully took the lid off the crystal candy jar. She made sure that she placed it gently down on the table which was suprising to me...at least she didn't throw it. When I took the jar away and put it on the mantel Madi stood by the bottom of the mantel doing the more sign and fussed because she wanted more chocolate.
We loved the beautiful weather last week. I think that we went to the park everyday. Madi loves the see-saw and the slides. She has gotten really good at climbing to the top of the slides then she gets a huge grin and down she goes. The weekend of the 26th and 27th, Jason Preston and his dad came to stay with us so they could go to the Bama vs Arkansas game. Madi loved them both and really showed out for them. We also enjoyed the visit and wish they lived closer so we could visit more often. Even Bella was on her best behaviour.
