We took our annual Kelly family beach trip May 13-17th. Madi loved it. She loved the sand, the pool, the waterslide, the lazy river, the ocean...She was a little wary of the ocean the 1st day but after she saw cousin Carter in it she thought it was great. Madi and her cousins played really well together and Madi took great naps after playing on the beach all morning. As soon as she woke from her naps she was ready to go again. Of course Mommy enjoyed good naps on the beach while Madi was napping in the condo with her cousins and Mimi! I also got to go on my morning beach walks which was great. Madi was fearless and loved going down the big waterslide with her Daddy. She also liked to float around the lazy river. We had pretty weather except for one day and we were still able to go out that afternoon to play on the beach. The seafood was yummy and we were so greatful that the oil spill has not yet affected Orange Beach!
I am already ready to go back. Kirk and I head back down on June 3 for an anesthesia meeting and Madi is heading to stay with Gigi!
Thanks Gigi, Goops and Alex for keeping Bella for us so we didn't have to board her. Bella was a nasty, tired puppy when we got her home...she spent many afternoons playing in the garden with her Goops. Madi was glad to see Bella and Bella was glad to see her too! They are best buddies.
